I'm looking to get some rims, choosing between 19 and 20 inches. Which would look better w.o the cost of performance? Would twenty screw up my babys driving ability? thanks

I went with 19's and i find it rides better, I feel the road a lot more (which is a good thing to me) but if the roads weren't so sh*tty here i would have gone with 20's. I think theres a couple ppl here with 20's and they dont have any issues, its going to come down to personal preference I guess???

I wanted 19's or even 20's but wound up getting 18's because the roads at work are so bad. The roads around town are fine, but I work in a 565 acre historic park (with a castle too! I need to park in front of it sometime and get some car pics with that in the background) and the roads really haven't improved much since the late 1800's Tree root bumps everywhere and more potholes than you can count.. I would destroy 19's or 20's in a few days..

I'm going 18s, roads are crap around here. And I think with 19s & 20syou'll have the same amount of rubber anyway. So I rather go 18s.

I'd stay in the 18's range, like 18x8.5 with no lower than a 35mm offset and 245/45/18 tires

Well... i have 245/35/20 on my 20s... i drive thru manhattan somewhat often as well (bad streets)... I guess its just a matter of if you are willing to have to pay attention to potholes in the slightest... If you wanna be able to tear arse with no regard over a giant pothole... go with 18s... if you avoid things like that naturally... 20s are the way to go IMHO (and i got the doc with me!)... After the eibach drop, i autocrossed... still no rub

19s are more exclusives and you can have more sidewall than in 20s

I too have been up countless nights wondering what size rims I should get. I'll never do 20's (scared to be stereotyped), I hear 19inch tires cost more than most other sizes (I hear), and I think 18's will fit nicely. So I will be choosing 18's when the time comes. Unless i fine some wheels that I REALLY like and they are only offered as 19's.

i think 19's are the best way to go cause they arent to big like 20's and they dont look small like the 18's (when dropped) and performance wise they would be great IMO
