Whats The Best Replacement Struts??

Hey I got a 95 240 and was wondering what yall would recomend for replacement struts for the car. I really cant spend the money for coil overs just need a good set of struts to replace the stockers..

Ditto. Excellent struts for anything lowered less than say 1.5" or so. Easy on the wallet too.

Thanks Guys, my car isnt lowered and but was thinking about it, just so the wheels wont have a huge gap between the fenders. What you think lower it with new springs?

I've had my KYB AGX's and a pro kit for a couple of years. It's not too stiff for the street, but I do decent at the local autocrosses.

If you are going to get new springs, I'd recommend the KYB GR2 setup and a set of Intrax springs. I was really happy with that setup. It rode really well (like the Eibach Prokits, but with more drop).

Where did you get your springs from?

It was somewhere online. To be honest, I don't recall. This was over five years ago. Let me dig a little and I'll see what kind of deal I can find on them.

Summit racing has them for $179.

You said you "were" really happy with them. The did you just choose to go for coilovers or did the combo mess up?

Im about to buy some suspension and I usually never buy anything expensive with out searching over and over lol

Well, on my old car, I had everything from...

Eiback Prokit / KYB GR2

Intrax / KYB GR2

Tein Flex

Tein S Tech / OE

All of it was in that order. I wanted more height adjustment and better handling. That's the only reason I got rid of the Intrax. I was satisfied with them, as satisfied as one could be with a spring/strut combo versus coilovers.
