Post

hey there

After a couple of threads, and shared info I've decided to make my FIRST upgrade the LSD, in order to drift better.

As far as i know 2.0 is the best for drifting, and theres cusco and kaaz as best brands apparenlty.

MAIN AND ONLY QUESTION:

whats the very best LSD i could use on it?

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND THOUGHTS!

LSD's carry a brake away rating rated in lb ft. if you want to drift get the highest one you can find, a standard clutch type R200 is rated at 80 ft lbs

Cusco makes 2 types the MZ and RS, the MZ is their original design, used cone type clutches, it takes alot of initial torque to lock up. the RS is their nwer design, it uses springs and clutches so it locks up easily.the KAAZ is very similar to the RS. with both you can set up the clutches for how hard you want it to lock. (street setting and track setting)

now the 2-way will lock on acceleration and deceleration (when your on the brakes) just like a race car, so you may want to get use to do alot of heal & toe techniques, if you dont already. I recomend the 2-way if you really like driving, I know I do.

the 1 & 1.5 way LSDs are more like your stock LSD, only they will not slip as much thanks to better clutches
