whats that noise????

ok yall i'm knew to the web sit but not to 240. i've been working on them for about six years and have a good number of motor swaps under my belt some of them in my cars and some in others. I have delt with some of the weirdest problems but this one has stumped me. I got this really bad vibration nocking noise going on and no its not a rod!!! But its some were between my flywheel and mid trasmission but i dont fell it in the shift nob. So i took it down to a trans. shop and they said it wasnt the trans. thta they though it was my exhoust rattling real bad. So i said ok it might be b/c i did have somthing hit my mid exhaust braket and brake it,"A pexi ha-ha", so i went to a buddy's house and remounted it from the header back but guess what ??? the Noise is still their !! So help me out her if anyone can.
