Whats that d*mn noise?!

I dont know much about engines yet...pretty much what I've learned from reading my tuner magazines but I got this repeating clicking noise coming from directly under the valve cover. I have no idea what it is but I'm hoping somebody here would. Thanks for all the input.

please explain more of the ticking noise.is it during driving? while in gear? or like after the cars turned off, but still warm?

only while the cars running its sounds like something from the top end...

Top timing chain guide! Take it out, you don't need it.

Remove valve cover, remove 2 bolts holding guide, then put valve cover back on.
