If you do much driving through the back roads you might want to look into illumination and/or suspension upgrades first. A strut bar is very easy to put on. I put mine in and have noticed a significant improvement in cornering. My next step is to install my lowering springs (tanabe nf210).

I really like my CAI. I can feel a bit of a boost to both the sound and power during acceleration.

I want to put rims on, but am worried that with the high car theft in my area that rims would attract too much unwanted attention. As would a flashy grill. But that's just my opinion.

that depends on you.

Given that you're from Socal, foglights are probably the LEAST important.

If you're looking for performance, rims would be first and best. The better tires that will go along with the new rims (providing you go up in size) will afford you better handling.

Unless you get a full cat-back exhaust, and exhaust system will do precisely nothing for your performance. It would all be for show and sound. Even a full cat-back will do little without a CAI.

well I also live in Cali, and at a performance stand point, I would buy new rims and tires first for better handling, the other stuff is mainly asthetic, unless upgrading with more as Ever Victorious mentioned.

Realistically, even with an exhaust AND CAI, you're not going to see much gains in the real world. Of course anything is better than stock, but don't expect your car to become a racecar or anything of that sort.

With what you gave me I would say rims then coilovers then exhaust (but its going to have to be custom) then fog lights and then a new grill is you really want that done.

Well the only reason I bought my Versa was because it was a new car and I like how it looked.

MPG is not a problem...didn't buy the car for that.Speed is not the problem...I can always make the car faster.

Some just buy cars because they like now they looks...lust before love.
