Former owner said it needed $500 more in turbo-intercooler, intercooler-intake plumbing . He also ****ed up the MAFS and now it pours gas in, which is gass washing the oil. Now theres a slight noise in the engine. So adding the turbo will create greater engine wear. Causing motor to break something, thus needing a rebuild.

***Whats a typical motor rebuild for one of these motors go?*** Cause I'm thinking if i install the turbo just rebuild the engine and add the turbo as it goes back in.

it's worth...one...million dollars......muwahhahahahaa! (couldn't help myself!! )

i got my KA remachined for 435 (checked for cracks, resurfacing, balencing and the like) but they didn't assemble it, just the machine work.....labor will cost you a ton on top of that

as far as boosting it....you could go either way...fiznat built his motor and turboed it from the beginning.....i'm waiting for a 500 mile NA break in before i turbo mine and i'm not going to be running nearly as much boost as he is...it's really comes down to what your comfortable with

the lower costs for a full rebuild (assuming you up the ante a little with forged lower end, and some other things to make the engine stronger) is generally around $1800-$2000 or so... that's what boost designs charges. if you want something more extreme, like what ivan builds, it looks like it goes for $3500-$4000 or so...

If you still want to sell mani let me know.If you want to turbo just find a low mile ka and turbo it.Then with your current engine have it built.
