Whats is this and do I need it?

Ok So I am emptying my engine bay so I can get my car cleaned up and running right and I was wondering what the hell this is and whether I need it in the car or not.

just a tip, if you dont know what something is, find the part # on it and google it and you should find out ....

Or look at it and see that it's connected to your windshield wipers!

Well the wipers on this car never worked, so that would explain why, the harness is cut on the other side of the fenderwall lol

I have one for you. This came off the rear of my 95. they are located where the rear end pivots from the chassis. their like paper weights with rubber on each end, which you can see is torn.

Those are just dampers. Mine were rattling and I ripped them off a long time ago.

So I had to ask what 1 part was on the whole car Big Deal lol I boosted this car almost 2 years ago and I want to clean it up finally, Call me lazy lol :gotme

you have been driving for 2 years with no working wiper blades? Hope its not a dd, btw what are the brite orange wires for?

Ha, when I had my hatch I think I used the wipers once. Drove it for a year and a half. In the rain probably twice. Hydroplaned and spun out twice as well...at 45+ mph in traffic!

But I live in AZ sooooo......

It was a weekend car for me, the car in my sig is my DD,

and the Bright orange are Vacuum lines, not wires.
