So, this is my first post. W e had hail tear through our part of the world here in Austin texas and my 92 firebird v6 just happened to be outside and got wasted. my insurance gave me 2600 dollars and total lossed the car. it is mechanically perfect and is a kickass daily beater. Since i have a good vehicle (other than the screwed nose clip900$ and the hail damge4200$!!!!)I decided to buy a project car. I have just purchased my first 240 and I love this car. It seems as if the previous two owners really didn't. Anyway here is a description of the car: 1991 240sx se model non-hatchback version, HUD, all interior works but the carpet and the seats gotta go, sunroof, 5-SPEED!(new clutch), rebuilt motor with 20000mi on it, odo says 149000. I took this car to a good mechanic that I know and he said all of the drive train, suspension and steering were in good shape. the car had been hit on the front end and the mechanic said that the front end was 1/2 an inch to the left......the dreaded FRAME DAMAGE , but he was absolutely sure that it could be straghtened on a rack without a problem. sure hope so since i am planning a future silvia conversion. I am going to replace the front bumper with an after market kit (invader series), and put on a new right fender, so it is going to have to be straight first. the staightening will cost 250-300 dollars. I only paid 1800 for it and it seems to be a pretty rare car so i thought I would give it a shot. I look forward to talking with y'all.^texan thing

Welcome 240nube!:)

Pretty much ANY hit is going to twist the chassis on an s13. 1/2" doesn't sound too bad..... but any "frame" damage is not good.

Sounds like you've got quite the project ahead of you. Hope we can help!
