Whats good compression for a 93' 240sx?

im getting 140'ish. 167k miles on the engine. Good or bad?

I think that is a bit on the low side. If I remember correctly, I believe the factory spec compression is 179.

Are you getting 140ish on all 4? If so, then it should be ok. The numbers are different when you do the test on a cold engine and a hot engine.

Factory spec is either 175 or 179psi, can't remember. Minimum is 151psi. You don't want a difference of more than 14 psi across all 4 cylinders.

Exactly how did you do your test?
