Whats going on??

So I've been having this problem for awhile and it has been annoying me. I thought it was hesitation but I don't think it is anymore. The problem that I am having is that my idle goes wack when I use certain things. For example when I turn my head lights on or press on the brake my idle drops to below 500 almost killing my car. It has actually happened a couple times. When I use my defroster my idle goes up to about 900-1200. It has to be electrical, right?

If anyone has got an idea whats going on and help me out it would be great. Thanks

i would start with battery than check altanator, than all wires coming from the battery and altanator, than go from there.
