whats did you guys use on your you z32 mafs?

Just out of curiosity for those who have the z32 mafs what did you guys use to connect yours to your stock plasticpiping I know someone had rigged out something? In stead of buying that 100 kit that phase2 sells.Oh yeah did you guys buy a new plug or just use the stock plug it cam with????Need ideas:confused:

im using a turbonetics 3"-2.5" reducer coupling and using the z32 plug spliced into the stock maf harness.

where did you get it and how much?For your plug did you have to extend your wires because they were cut when you got it?Thats how mine areAnyone else

horsepowerfreaks.com it was like $40 after shipping i think. the maf plug i got has like 8-10" of wire on it so i wont have to extend the wires

hey I really dont understand what you did with the wires? did you just rigg them up by cutting off your stock maf and rewiring the z32 wires with your ka wires (to the maf) without messing with anything else. Which wires go where, you wouldn't know the sizes of these wires would ya? I think I have to extend my wires, too short on the z32 but if im thinking right about what you did I wouldn't have to.Sorry might be confusing

heres the wiring diagram i used thanks to slos13. the 3 wires u splice actually match colors. the thin black wire is the one u ground to the chassis

would it be alright to go ahead and use the 300z maf on my ka for like a couple months before I go turbo? what would some pros and cons be for using it??

Well first off unless you have an A'PEXi SAFC or something similar to control the added airflow from the Z32 maf you are going to run dangerously lean and probably make your engine go pop before you turbo.

As for pros....at this point, there really isn't any that I can think of. :)
