Ummm....lately its been the radio. I think it could have been R.E.M. I've put in the School of Rock soundtrack a few times.

AFI - Sing the Sorrow doesn't seem to want to leave my cd player, but when it does, the new Outkast gets some play, the latest A Perfect Circle CD as well as Thursday - War All of the Time.

Yeah, it isn't bad. It is much darker and more serious with much less sophmoric humor in it. Still not bad though.

Nice choices all around Budd, and I'm TOTALLY with you on the AFI cd. From start to finish it just keeps pulling me back in over and over again. Although... I have to say I can't stand Thursday... lame-o.

The only other cds I've been listening to lately are:

Faith No More - "Angel Dust"Breaking Benjamin - "Saturate"Shine Down - "Leave a Whisper"

All three are very emotionally provoking albums.

Recently it's been...

1) Tori Amos "Tales of a Librarian"

A "best of" compilation, but with every track either new, a B-side, or "reconditioned" in some way.

2) Tool "Undertow"

Still kicks *** after 10 years.

3) Galactic "Ruckus"

Some cool N'awlins funk produced by Dan "The Automator" Nakamura of Gorillaz, Lovage, Dr. Octagon and Deltron 3030 fame.

2Pac - Resurrection Soundtrack

Great CD, lots of older stuff brought back to life (pun intended).

Anthony Hamilton - Comin' From Where I'm From

Another great one, great combination of modern R&B with a lot of older influence and sound.

Jay-Z - The Black Album

Showcases himself as a great lyricist, an area in which I think he's highly underrated.

Get them all, by any means necessary. ;-)

Right now in the cd player is Story of the year, also the 2003 warped tour sampler gets a lot of play and Chicken and beer those are my main rotation right now. Offspring are indeed a great band and havent had a bad cd yet.

I wish I had the new Outkast cd... oh well...Right now I'm rockin' Incubus, "Morning View," especially "Circles," "Warning," "Have You Ever?," "Under My Umbrella," and for the softer moments, "Are You In?" and "Wish You Were Here." This cd is a TON more mellow than "Make Yourself," which is good for my current mood.

I'm still listening to Santana and Bad Boyz 2 the sound track. But Outcast or Murphey Lee is next on my list.

New AFI is great, I never used to like them all that much, but the new one is really good.

Well I took my CD cases out of my car, so I keep forgetting them, and I've been playing Wu Tang, Iron Flag for the past week.

Recent though has been: Every Time I Die - Hot DamnThe Appleseed Cast - Two Conversationsfordirelifesake - the split with DelugeThe Number Twelve Looks Like You - Put on your rosy red glasses (if you like fast metal, or fast hardcore check them)

2 of my favorite cd's. Morning View and Make Yourself are both amazing cd's. I keep copies of each in my office at work, at home and in my car.

The earlier cd's aren't bad either, S.C.I.E.N.C.E and Fungus Among Us; but the last 2 are much better.
