96 s14 for the recored.

so i go to leave and its getting dark out. i start my car and switch on the headlights. i get halfway up my street and i notice i have no dash lights. i instantly knew it was the tail lamp fuse. so i pull it and its blown like figured. i pop another 10A in and switch on the lights and *POP* blows the fuse again. im like ok lets try a 20A. i put it in, hit the lights, and.... *POP*. it blows a 20A.my OLD s14 did this twice. once was aftermarket fog lights wired into the corner lights. the second was the clip connections on the + battery terminal.

my current s14 has nothing spliced into the the circuit. the connection on the terminal is fine. the only thing ive done electrically recently was put in my new subs. the thing is their on a separate circuit.

lights that are out:corner lights (front)corner lights (bumper)dash lights/ dome lightturn signalstail lights/ brake lights

please help.

Thanks

Check and make sure none of the bulb sockets are melted or even slightly melted, this is a common problem on S13s.

and btw, dont put a higher amperage fuse in place of low amperage ones. its a good way to melt your fuse box and wiring.
