whats better for ka24de, turbo or s-charger???

I am new to this site so hello to all and I hope someone can help me please, that said I have a 98 altima se, with header,no cat and a chip, I am looking to either turbo it or s-charge it , wich would be better in not causing me trouble down the road with the internals of the motor. thanks for any help or suggestions that are posted!!!:help :help :help :help :help

Depend on what exactly you're looking for...

I would say a S/C.. with a clutch system should do it, however that's only because I've completely removed my A/C and got the space for it.. I mean if it's only for some 5-6psi worth of boost, S/C should be good enough..though it does cause some parasitic drag..And also because I've yet to see a S/C KA24..

however, either one can be made reliable.

Yeah but the drag isn't much more of the engine running the A/C. Use a MB 230 blower,it fits perfectly in that space and is a clutch type blowe good for up to and over 22psi. YES 22psi from a blower! If I end up keeping the KA thats what I'm doing,the KA is all about mid-range and torque,and with a clutch-type blower you could still hold boost to redline.

Depends on if built internals or not. If u arent i would say supercharger around 9 psi. If turbo build internals and run around 18-20.
