whats a safe boost for my KA24DET?

whats up! my buddy is selling me him T3/T4 turbo off his 240sx (KA24DET) my question is: How much can i boost and still be safe? that turbo can hit 27psi.... but thats way to much for me.... what do you guys say?

Stock engine = no more than 7psi SAFELY.

around 8psi and up would likely be pushing your fuel system to the limit.

Before you boost, make sure you get a tune up. Check and replace your rod bearings if needed. Have your head checked for warpage/leakage and bad valves.

Any little problems will be exacerbated GREATLY when boost is applied.

i was thinking about 7 or 8 psi..... well i am getting the BC retainer and valve springs kit.... and as for my fuel upgrades just 370cc injecters and Sard feul pressure regualtor.

Then you should be fine.

get the regular maintanence and service out of the way and it couldnt hurt to replace your rod bearings with something nice like ..clevite bearings. They are used in nascar *thumbs up*

yeah my cousin crashed my S13! i loved that car!.... and as for the ( ) i like them so dont trip! and thanks for all the help! i am putting my turbo in this weekend, i get it tomorrow. i cant wait!!
