have an rb25det in a s13 had j30 in....broke crossmember in two..have another stock rear end in now i'm going to swap the j30 back in but i was just wondering about some other rear end options to make it cruise around 70mph a little easier. right now its like 2800-3000 at 65-70. i heard about a skyline rear end with j30 output shafts but whats the gear ratio differences between all these rear ends... any help will be appreciated

i have a 1997 q45 rear-end that is 3.6 final drive. so you will definitely get higher top speed. it will swap in using the j30 output shaft. let me know.

How do you like that rear end ratio? Car fall on its face at all or come out of boost on you?

the longer gear allows you to stay in boost longer and higher speed top speed.

$100+shipping. i was told you will need to get the 95-97 j30 diff output shaft for it though to use your stock axles..
