can you guys post what you paid out the door for your base coupe 2.5s, out the door (after dealer fees, taxes). i know taxes vary but i just want to have a general idea. some of the dealers in south florida are charging MSRP + $1,500 just because they don't have many of them on the lot

well, i'll just give you what i know, and what i experienced and saw at the dealership.

when i went to the dealership 2 days ago to get my altima coupe, i was initially looking for a 2.5s w/ cvt, with just basic options or what's necessary like power windows etc. (aka the convenience package = $3,000). and so when i went, i found a few 2.5s' with convenience packages. all were $23,3xx. but instead of giving me a MSRP, they gave me a price of 21,292, reason being i was a "COSTCO MEMBERSHIP HOLDER". therefore they gave me the COSTCO AUTO CLUB price. and then on top of that price there is sales tax, license taxes, and it came out to around 24k.

i ended up with a 3.5se, but as for 2.5s prices, thats how my experience went. hope this helps?

helps somewhat... i have a costco card so i'll check to see if that helps any? the cheapest ive been able to get for a 2.5s basic with CVT is $22,700 but for that price i have to wait until november 1st to get delivery. they also have one about an hour north of me for $22,900 that is on the lot, ready for pickup.. i was hoping to get $22,200. btw, these prices are out the door, including tax, etc.

sounds good, but yea check in with your local dealerships with your costco membership, the dealership i went to had a costco auto club representative that handled all the pricing for me pretty much.

I can't remember all the fees, but for the car it self I paid 26k even. Sticker was $27,200 for 2.5 w/ CVT, Premium Pkg, Fog lights & Floor mats. Wishing I'd paid the 3k more for the 3.5 now, but after a year or so I'm going to trade it for either another 350z (400z if it's out by then) or a 09 Camaro!

Out the door for $21,620. Base 2.5S with ABS and mats. That includes the key insurance of $249, taxes, title, doc prep, inspection sticker and registration fee. The car was $19,900 before all the other crap.

The only question I have is about the Continental tires that came on the car, they seem to wander a little on the highway. Anyone else have problems with these tires. I'm thinking of replacing them, but am wondering what the recomendations are.

the dealers here in south florida are charging MSRP + an addendum of $1,500 through $2500. Most places are quoting me $24,000+, the cheapest ive found it in stock is $22,900 in stock, $22,750 if i purchase and give them a few days to get it. crazy. they're in short supply not b/c they sell a lot but b/c they don't have many.

I agreed to 28K out the door for my 2.5S w/premium package and spoiler. That was 6k less than the sticker price. Basically, they took off the 2500 dollar addendum (what you mentioned) and all of the dealer added crap (spoiler, Xzilon protectant, floormats, kickplates, nitrogen in tires) and I got it a little below MSRP (including the spoiler). This is a pretty rare thing around here - they can't keep them on the lots and NO one is selling them for MSRP - I've been shopping for months. The downside is that I'm having to wait for them to bring it in from another dealership, but this way I get the color I want...

edited to add: I think the price on the car before tax tag and title was 25,300.

I got my 2.5 with convenience, sunroof, mats, and wheel locks for MSRP of $24k plus $1,500 for tax, so around $25,500 total. So anything under that minus 900 for the sunroof, I would consider being a good deal.

Try to toss in 1 to 2 grand and get a 3.5, i think you would get tired of the 2.5, i already am unless you are one of those granny drivers then its okay haha hopefully in 2 year i get a 350z or evo x
