I seem to be finding different numbers for the dealer invoice on a new 2010. I'm currently looking at a 2010 SL FWD w/ premium package. I have 2 dealers in a bidding war but it hasnt gotten heated up yet. Only 2 days into this World War.

Anyways, one dealer A says the Sticker price is $27,800 but she can give it to me for $25,000. Dealer B gave me a Sticker price of the same, but said he can let it go for $22,900. It brings the out the door price up to $24,365. With $4k for my trade in, then me putting down $2k, and with all the other incentives ($750 cashback, $500 graduate reward, $150 dealer check), i can walk out of there without negotiating at all with Dealer B for a new Rogue for under $19k financed.

How much lower do you think I can go on Dealer B?

By the way, I'm buying this car for my wife, as we have our first little one on the way and due in April!

I just bought my 2010 Rogue today!!!

Sticker was $26,500. Got them down to $22,500 before trade and graduate discount.

According to the three dealerships in my area they said that they can't go down too far because Nissan doesn't have many (if any) incentives for the Rogue. I know for the 2009 there is a $1,750 cash back but that's all they were really offering.

Best of luck in your search and bargaining!

Took mine home last night. The one I got for my wife is a bare bones model. S trim. All I have is the floormats and splash guards.

Dealer invoice was $20,192.Negotiated price was $610 below invoice.Price is now dropped to $19,582.With $750 cash back incentive it's now $18,832.Also took advantage of the $500 Graduate discount. Now it's $18,332.Put down $2500. Walked out the door financing about $16,100 for a 2010 Nissan Rogue at 2.9% financing. Payments are $302. Woot.

To PChildress...

If you don't mind me asking, who was "Dealer B" that was offering the SL Premium for $22,900?

I'm negotiating on one right now with an MSRP of $27,800 (Must be the same as what you looked at) and can't get them under $27,090!!

My 2010 SL FWD, BT, Bose, leather, and etc, was msrp at 27,810. I got the dealer to 26,210 plus 2825 for my trade in (2000 camry W/ 110000 miles). I think I got a decent deal.

YMMV....

Cheers

I paid $0.0 dollars for mine

$0 down that is.

$290.00 per month lease for 39 months!

I can buy it at the end of the lease for $14,000

sooo..........

If you add the total of my lease payments they add up to $11,300. Add that to the $14,000 buyout and if I choose to purchase it then I paid $25,300 for an SL AWD Premium Package Rogue. So, I'm on a 39 month test drive with very little chance for a downside

I just bought my 2010 Nissan Rogue S with 360 package, mats, rear bumper protector, chrome door sills, for $19,500 + ttl. My dealership was offering $1,000 below invoice + $750 Nissan Rebate on Rogue. 360 package added $1040 to price, but I think I did alright for $19,500.

Well I got my 2009 Rogue last summer and MSRP was $26,000, I paid $1800 down, no trade in, and my OTD price was $21,000.

I got the SL with premium package, rear spoiler, lifetime nitrogen fill...basically everything but the leather package. And thats including GAP insurance.

I did all my negotiating through email that way I had proof of anything the salesperson said. Which turned out to be a lifesaver because she lied to me about my interest rate and since I could prove it, management went out of their way to throw so extra discounts my way.

I bought a 2010 Rogue SL this week for 19700 plus TTL. Sticker was 23,300+dealer add-ons tinted windows, wheel locks, pin-striping and fabric protector which I think brought it to 24,700. They didn't even charge me for the dealer add-ons on my invoice.

This is how I did it. I first used google maps to search all the Nissan dealers in my area. I then visited all the dealership websites. One dealer had a internet special of 20,900 (sticker was 23,300). I called them and told them I will buy the car with the 1250 dealer incentive cash back. He said let me ask my manager. He then said he could do half of the 1250. I told him I was looking at a 2010 Tucson. He kept asking me when can I come in. I said if you give me the full 1250 discount we are on. He asked his manager and the deal was approved. I then went to the dealership and started negotiating a trade in for my 2003 BMW M3. They first offered me 14000. BMW dealership offered me 15,000. Carmax offered me 15500. I got the dealer to agree on 16000 after telling them over and over I really want to test drive a new Hyundai Tucson. The dealer also allowed me to use my chase continental credit card to charge the remaining balance of 4300. I like collecting continental miles. I always pay off my bill at the end of the month to prevent finance charges. Nice thing about trading in your car is it reduces your taxes. I only had to pay 200.00 for taxes.

My suggestion is to visit a dealership so that you can test drive the car and see what color and options you want. Then visit all dealer websites in your area for internet specials. If they don't have the model color or option they will bring it in from another store which was the case for me. (That's why I recieved all the add-ons for free. The dealership didn't know the add-ons existed when they brought the car over from their sister store) Negotiate over the phone first this gives you an edge up because you can potentially go to another dealership. Then tell them you have a trade in. Make sure you do your homework as far as how much your vehicle is worth using edmunds.com . I'm loving this car it drives so smooth. I bought the silver ice color with the tinted windows. It looks too cool. Good luck!

We just got one at the end of April for below invoice.
The dealer was trying to meet a quota from Nissan.
Our salesman was very honest with us, if the dealer met the quota, they would get $500 bonus from Nissan for every Rogue they had sold that month. So he was willing to blowout one, less than invoice, less his holdback, to get closer to that quota.

Did not hurt either that I already had a very good offer from a competing dealer in hand ;)

I bought mine last night. 2010 SL AWD, floor mats (all weather mats also), aluminum kick plates, spoiler, bumper protector, mud guards, moonroof for $22,400. I did not get the $1000 cash back because we went with the special 0.9 % financing which makes more sense. I think we did ok on the price but I wouldn't be surprised if someone got a better deal for the same car.
