I just dropped in a redtop sr20, and now I need exhaust. I know their are a lot out their, but I just want some people's opinions. I've heard 5zigen fireball is really loud, and apexi is loud too. I want something that isn't all ricey like a honda, but not to loud. All opinions are appreciated. Thanks!

you need an HKS super dragger. Very deep low rumble without the ignorant ungodly loud tone of other exhausts and on acceleration it really sounds sweet. Canister is kind of big but 4 inch outlet tip and it really looks good underneath an S13.

I have a 3" catback Blitz NUR-spec exhaust on mine (sounded really nice w/ the SR before that uninsured motorist totalled my car). I won't put an exhaust on my next car - I'm just going to have a downpipe w/ a turndown under my car next.

I've got this, sort of, it gets pretty annoying. But damn if it doesn't sound cool

I got the blitz Nur-Spec R with Turbo XS cat-delete downpipe on stock turbo'd Kouki Blacktop.

Sounds loud and throaty when you get on it, but i can ride the gas pedal just right to drive next to a cop without him staring at me with disgust... or maybe im just lucky?

My friend Jay (89 240 hatch) has a RSR ex-Mag, and I truly think its a choice exhaust for a daily driver, its quiet when he is just cruising, but when he gets on it you sure can hear it!!

He put a hi-flow catco cat on it (3") and it quiets it down to a minimum but still gets the power he needs.

funny thing is he got a muffler ticket for a modified TIP and I run past cops all day with my OPEN COFFEE CAN !!!!! LMAO

a verry expensive one might I addd.

I like the fact that Blitz is all SS

I have the Aped N1 Duals. Def not the quietest, but not the loudest either. Sounds very mean at Wide Open Throttle. Plus, the main reason I purshased it was the smaller tip diameter. I just don't like the HUGE tips.

i have tanabe super medallion racing echaust. its too loud with the silencer out and too quiet with the silencer in, so i cut the tube on the silencer in half then put it in, it gives me loud when needed and i can make it quiet... the tone gets sort of annoying at 65, but all loud exhausts do...

i vote for the apexi gt, and a cat delete pipe. quiet around town if im not on it, but intimidating as hell at WOT. not for those who want extra ground clearance though.

I have a NUR Spec and love it

There is no exhaust you can put on the DET and have it sound like a honda.

The turbo takes all the blatty sound out of the exhaust. So far i havn't heard a crappy sounding SR...

If you can afford it the best sounding SR i've heard had the JIC titanium exhaust. It was amazing.
