i have about $1000 saved, i can work on my own car an have a shop to do all the work in, but im wondering what i should do first for high compression. i already have a high flow cat back and a long ram cold air intake, whats next for my 1000 spent wisely on my 95 s14 240sx?

You would have to tear your motor apart and install high compression pistons. You would find more info on building a KA in the KA forums.

However, you won't see the gain from going with high comp pistons that you would from going with a turbo setup.

Since you've done a catback setup, and have an intake, you should consider doing headers. Past that, you've done all you can for bolt ons and would have to look at headwork and piston/headgasket replacements to get more power out of an N/A motor.
