I've been doing some internet looking for a crew cab, and I'm apparently seeking something that's pretty rare... Specifically a crew cab with a long bed and manual transmission. I know they were made up through 2004 in the D22, but I'm leaning toward the D40 due to the slightly larger size and supposedly beefier platform that it shares with the Titan.

If I could find a good deal on a well maintained D22 I'd still consider it, since I love my '04 King Cab. It' just that there are enough times that we're doing something as a family that's truck related, and my wife and son have to follow me in the G since there's no room for her and a car seat in my truck.

So does anyone know what years Nissan made the D40 in a long bed with the M/T? I've only seen this rare beast in '07 and '08 models, and I know they're not available now if I go to Nissan's web site... Knowing this would let me narrow my search years and make hunting a little easier.

Thanks!

Heath

Even that config was rarer for the d22 models as well. A lot of CC LB models were auto and some were even 2wd!! Finding a d40 CC LB with manual will prove to be a hunt, it's all about being patient.

So far I have three potential ones... in Florida, Maryland, and NC. Of course the one that's only 150 miles away is $2K more.

Took me a year of searching and preparing to find my 02 and it was lacking in one area, automatic. I have learned to like it but a stick would have been sweet, couldn't find a good one with mileage as low as mine or in as good a shape for the same price.
