Car: Want to buy a G35!

Post

Any comments would be appreciated from G35 owners. Ive read the 2005 model came with iPod hook ups and was redesigned somewhat (headlights and taillights I believe). Also changed from the Brembo brakes.

Any opinions that there is one year better than the other??Thanks

Welcome to Nico lets see if we can help you out a little here.

Every year has it's pros and cons, it really comes down to what you are looking for out of a vehicle. Obviously the 06 will have tech options the 04 does not. The key upgrade in >05 models is the option of intelligent key. The interior got a slight upgrade in 2005 while the only exterior changes were found in the front and rear lights as well as a 19" wheel option in the coupe.

Depending on what you are looking for be it a coupe or sedan, automatic or manual, navi or not there are many options available. If you share with us your desires out of a your next car we may be able to assist you further in finding the model that fits your needs.

Thanks Stevethetech

I am looking for a coupe and would like to have Nav but thats not a must. Mainly want low mileage. Also thinking automatic unless the manual has some nice options that the auto doesnt have.

It sounds like the 2005 or newer is the way to go. Also looking for black interior (a must) and either a black, charcoal or white exterior.

The 2005-2007 coupe are very similar and there were only a very few small differences. The drivetrain on the automatic models were not changed.

When it comes to picking a model, I cannot recommend Infiniti CPO program high enough. This is as close to a new model used Infiniti as you can get. Plus it comes with a 100k warranty which might pay for itself.

manual 6 speed

I've got a 2004 coupe and have been very pleased!! I would advise getting an extended Nissan backed warranty regardless of the year you choose.

Oh, and I started out looking for a black, but fell for this twilight blue color!!

email me.. [email protected] I'll take you for a ride, no pressure just want to sell it.
After you test drive the 05 if you come to New Jersey I'll let you test drive my 06.

If you buy it I'll even include a full tank of gas.
