I just bought a low mileage Q45 non-sport and want to be able to search our classifieds for upgrade suspension, intake/exhaust, ECU, etc. Plus the driver weighed about 350lb's and wore down the panels beside the driver's door while getting in & out and there's a small hole in the driver's bottom cushion.

It would be great if I knew what year Q's would match up parts; should anyone know. Thanks a bunch- Nitro-Nicky

oh, post-script, -There are lots of references to Q45's; such as: Y33/Q50 etc. How do I figure out what applies to which model???

I think most of the things on the 2002 Q45 are unique to IT. After 2002 lots of parts were upgraded.

350 LBS though, jeez thats alot.

Sport models were only available in 2002 and 2006 on the F50 Q45.

You need to do a lot more reading of the previous posts to cleanse your mind of erroneous assumptions.

The problem I am having with using the 'SEARCH' function effectively, is that there are so many different number/letter combinations for the Q45 Death Star. For my camaro, all I have to do is know which generation it is (third for my IROC). Thus why I added the postscript asking after what the Y's & '50''s are designating. So 'THAT' would be of HUGE Assistance!!!Nitro-Nicky

They are chassis designations. Discussed many times: G50, FGY33, F50 = 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation of each Q45 model, respectively.

Now start completeing your profile, please.

I guess the Japanese didn't factor in the 'morbidly obese American' when designing the seats....well now they know!

That's definetly some of the info I need. Although the chassis designation might seem like a 'no-brainer' to the informed, sometimes when you're on the outside, it isn't so obvious as to where a really well balanced place to start using the SEARCH function is at. Now I know and I thank you for pointing me in the right direction! Nitro-Nicky
