Just like the topic saysI'm trying to figure out what year my motor i have. I have a 1990 with a ka24de swap in it, but i don't know that year the motor it is. From what i have researched, the 91-94 valve covers have 3 bolts across the top and 2 in the back side against the firewall. The 95-99 valve covers have 2 bolts across the top and 3 in the back. So the heads are different i'm guessing and the blocks may be the same. But when the swap was done, it wasen't up graded to OBD2 so its not a 96-99 motor unless the 96-99 can run off an older ecu. Sooooooo where's the engine stamp or whatever is on the thing to tell what year is is?????????????
