What Year Miata Battery

I got a 90 RPS13 with a FMIC and i don't know what year miata battery to buy that will fit in the front engine bay, if someone could please help me with this problem. Would it fit fine or do i have to make mods and what kind?

'99 and later Miatas had that little battery mounted in the trunk, that's probably the one you are talking about. I can't say for sure it will fit your setup, though.

Just get like a 95 or something, or when you go to like autozone, ask them if you could see it and than just measure it to make sure it fits between your FMIC pipe and the battery tray open space, because I have 94 I believe in mine and it fits almost PERFECT.
