Did you try calling their toll free number? HERE (previously called Navteq) supports models up to 2018. From 2019 onward the maps are from TomTom.howie411 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 6:13 pmYep, definitely have the latest version of the software and the map installer software. Also tried that chat and they tell you they only provide helper for older cars not the newer ones with the free map downloads. Can you take a photo of your installed Map page and Add Map page? Been going back and forth with Nissan and been to 2 dealerships. None of them say there is an issue. But clearly there is and this all started after they replaced my head unit.
I just want to see if yours shows 2018.6 under installed maps.
Wait, so the maps on the 2019 Rogues are made by TomTom?Rogue One wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 6:47 pmDid you try calling their toll free number? The 2018's use TomTom maps too. That is when they switched from the SD card to just downloading the maps to the car's Nav system. And yes I've tried calling everyone, Tom Tom, Navteq, Nissan Corporate. That is why I need confirmation from someone that their screen shows the 2018.6 maps installed and not the 2017.4 maps.Rogue One wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 6:47 pmDid you try calling their toll free number? When you click 2019, it will lead to tomtom's map page, but if you click 2018, it leads to nowhere. I think only 2019 and newer could use the PC tool to update 2018 maps from Tomtom. For 2018 Rogue, we can only use "2017 update 5".
Another thought, since the 2018 map is for whole north america, I guess you have to delete all maps to install/reset. So fix the Canada's error first?
My Rogue is also 2018. I am downloading 2018 right now (slowly) and going to try it out this week or next week. Let's see.
@howie411, called Nissan for you. Apparently, the software is designed to show 2017.04 update 5, but it is actually a 2018 update. Please make sure your car has software 0154 and you should be able to reset your map to 2018.06. However, the software may show 2017.04 Update 5. I hope this can help solve your issue.howie411 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 6:13 pmyep, definitely have the latest version of the software and the map installer software. Thank you Benjumin, but that's the odd thing, the reset map option doesnt work for me. I can download them individually but I can't do a full reset. Though if your telling me the 2017.04 update is really the 2018 maps then that is fine since that is what is installed. Its just odd the reset option isnt working.Benjumin wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2019 6:28 am@howie411, called Nissan for you.
