Kinda kool stuff on this one, but I dont think she's a 90.

Remote Start? Nice, .... and those wheels are my style.

Anyone seen or heard of a Active Suspension Q getting a slightly lowered stance? Purely for aesthetics .....

If it truly does have a 61 k motor and trans - perhaps a good deal?

Anyone know what wheels these are? Like the incorrect yr on this add, the wheels state ZOOM - well a trip to ZOOM wheels indicates they distribute wheels not mfg'r. Anyone have a clue? Link to a place to buy?

Ive been to tire rack online and none of those struck my fancy.

The free carfax says it is a 90. She has been on the block before (within the past 6 months) and apparently didn't sell. He should wipe the engine down a bit for more visual appeal.

This car has re-appeared multiple times, I think Jeff Williams traded emails with the guy selling it the first time, maybe the same guy, not sure. Do search on "Actor's Q" or "Actors Car"?

It has a faux grill that makes it look like it's not an early model.

It's a 90, not an Active Suspension car.

Possibly Eibach springs, not a bad deal if it's well-maintained.

I don't like the odo tampering. At all.

Faux grill? whatever for for chis sakes! I love that bad azz belt buckle up front - but then I am originally from Texas :-)

I just want those wheels, I messed up - Zoom does make wheels - my bad. Cant seem to find someone online that has that style other than DIABLO ..... any wheel guru's have some insight?

Thx.

PS - I m not interested in that ar to buy - just like some of the looks / features it had, andwas confused by the faux grille.

Socal-

You can lower your suspension by setting the height level to the minimum at each wheel. See your service manual. You can do it without CONSULT, but of course it is easier with. You have to be under the car while the wheels are on a flat surface, engine running.

The ride will suffer, because you will limit travel, and you will chew up the inside edges of the tires, but if you want the look...

AZHitman can see the rear muffler heat shield in the rear suspension pic.

These don't look anything like the rims on the car, but here's what I found. First guess would be they may not meet the load requirements.

Pretty close. Looks like the holes near the lug holes on the car's rims are larger than the ones in the Desire pic.

The link I sent was to Washington Tire in LA. They have both a brick n mortar (323) 761-0781 and a web store http://www.washingtontire.com/

Good luck, and don't forget to check load ratings and the wheels weight.

I missed the thread on wheel "weight" .....

I presume to ADD this figure to the cars total to re-calc the load rating?

Link or info?

Thanks again NICO peeps - u guys are awesome - just like the Q :-)

The wheel weight was more, be careful not to add too heavy of a wheel as extra rotating mass is not good.

I found a few different things, but you'll find more if you search for "wheel weight" and/or "load rating", either here or the wheel & tire forum.

Here's a pic of the rims that were on my Q when I bought it. (I know "pretty" stripe :( )

Been offline for a while. Yes, I did talk to the guy, and I even posted this auction, and all the correspondence with the guy I had, just a few minutes ago (Did not see this post). He sent me some more pics of the interior, and other things. I think the grille is a Stillen thing, from the early 90's. The guy seems straig up. The car looks to be well cared for. He did buy another Q (1994), and is trying to join NICO.

It would be a fun car to "play" with, if you had the money.
