The block stamp wont tell you anything about the year the engine was made.

I read that link 10 times and i still cant seem to understand how to read the stampings. Do you have to read all 4 coils or just anyone that has the stamping?The one guy that posted his coil has this stamping:1 ::::::2 ::::::

How does he get feb '94 from that?

no you don't have to read all four, but should just to make sure nobody has switched them up on you and would cause a false calculation. so it's like this:

1 ::::::2 ::::::3 ::

this is what i had on mine-the one and the two represent the years 1331 and 1992-since they are marked by twelve dots, you move on(if yours appears this way). the three stands for year 1993, and since it only has two dots marked by it, it is indicative that it was built in the second month(february)of 1993. hope this gives you some lite
