what year is best in your opinion?

hi...obviously im new to this site but i was wondering what you all thought was the best year for the G35 because im trying to buy one used and i was looking at a 2004 model and a 2006 model. what do you think is the better year to buy and im sorry but i dont have the money to buy new

Well, the 03-04 had a great color...a real dark green. But I didn't like the stereo deck. Also, I was worried about tire feathering with the 03's. I went with the 05 because it was the newest "used" one I could find. New console deck, different A/C controls. The 06 has better seat-belt placement and blue-tooth...but I HATE the short spoiler!

So the 05 for me...though I am biased

I bought an 06 sedam model,I found that the interior layout was better,also the hood,front bumper,headlights,and taillights look better.also the 06 sedan is rated at 280hp

coupe or sedan??I think Joe is talking about the coupes. Haven't heard too many issues with any of the sedans except brake shoes in the 03's.

Hey hellonweels89,

I went with a 04 coupe and have been pretty happy with it so far.

1) I totally agree with the radio/ac controls. I would rather be turning a dial than pushing a button up or down. 2) One of the nice things about the 03-04s is all of the 12 volt plugs for let's say a Passport. I drove an 06 sedan and they have seem to gotten rid of the power outlets. Not sure if it was on the model I drove or what the deal was....that was one of my issues with the 350Z. 3) Not for sure on this one, but I believe the 05's and up have MP3 capability but the 03 and 04's do not.4) Price...the 04s with low miles are a little cheaper than the 05s.

If I was on the market now....I probally would go with an 05 hate to admit it but really miss being able to play my MP3's.

Oh...forgot to say that the 06 has projector HIDs...they look better IMO. And yes, I'm only referring to the coupes. Not sure about the differences between the sedans.
