I'll be needing a cobra MAFS to go with my new JWT ECU sometime soon, and I'm wondering WHAT cobra MAFS the program uses....

I know it's the 1993 cobra MAFS...Is that from a 5.0 liter engine? What is the outer diameter of the MAFS? 70 mm?

For example, is this the one?

KA24DE.com sells them. This one should work.

....thanks

But that doesn't help me...it doesn't give the part number, or the outer diameter, and KA24DE.com charges something like $200 for that IIRC...they can be had for a LOT cheaper

You're right, I have too much time on my hands.

I did end up calling JWT. there are two numbers associated with the Cobra MAFS. One is the part # that ford uses and that you'd find on the box...

F1SZ-12B579-A

The other number is the actual number ON the MAFS itself.

F1SF-12B579-AA

The technician also said that any deviation from those numbers would not work, even if it's only off one.

But, i'd never buy one of these new at retail price...way too expensive
