then something is wrong. your flywheel, or the clutch.

i called the shop i bought the motor from and told them what was going on and they said it had to be the kit i bought because the kit was for a rb20 and 25 and that rb25 has a bigger flywheel? make any sense ? cuz i thought maybe i got the wrong flywheel with the swap?

Sounds like someone gave you a different flywheel. It will bolt on, I got screwed when i got my engine and thats what happened.

You have the wrong flywheel. There is no diff between a 20 and 25 flywheel.

Not true. The rb 20 uses a clutch that interchanges with the KA while the 25 uses a clutch that interchanges with the n/a z32 vg30de.

Oh noes!!! I am wrong???

Buddy of mine pulled a twin disc setup off a rb20 and bolted it right up to his ka-t just the other day, I helped him do it.

Bah, maybe it's the 20 flywheel will interchange with the KA flywheel? Can't friggin' remember, too much random info floating around in my head...

Ok so after much debate i took it upon myself to get pictures of whats been going on with my flywheel so here's what i came up with maybe this will help and maybe you guys can help me out here is my rb20 flywheel and a ka24e pressure plate i took off my pulled motor ...now here's where im getting confused .... it fits with no problems ....here's my supposed rb20/rb25 pressure plate sitting on my supposed rb20 flywheel ...looks alittle too big huh ??here they are side by side ...not much of a size difference between the clutches you can see them over laying each other here's the clutch on the rb20 flywheel and the clutch lines up right where the old one was ...so what is going on with this ? on some one help now ? did i get the worng flywheel or what ?

I also have a fitment problem with my Clutch Masters kit. Everything is perfectly identical, diamaters and all, but it seems they forgot to drill 3 bolt holes and 1 dowel pin hole...

Wierd.

Other than that it is perfect. Im just going to drill the 3 holes and remove the other pin (possibly) and install it with a little extra torque.
