I have an opportunity to get some JDM Racing Sparco rims, 4-lug, 16x7 and 16x8, with a 2 and 3" lip, respectively.

They're kind of a split-spoke mesh design.

They're not perfect, and need to be polished / repainted, and one has a pretty good curb scrape in the lip.

What do you think they're worth?

Also, I'm thinking 245/45/16 in the rear, what would be a good size for the fronts?

no idea on price... include the letters "JDM" and price shoots up.

225/50-16 fronts? Chet?

Still no word on tire sizes?

Offset is 25mm and 30mm, BTW.

Welp considering alot of whats coming outta japan, on ebay, sells for anywhere between $500-$800 a set shipped, that's where i'd start.

As for tire sizes, i'm still on steelies with a set of stock alloys on the way so no experience in that field.

since you say they need some work, I wouldnt put too much money into them. Say around 400 max.

my opinion....

16x7 / 16x8 (if you must stagger), both of them +25, see how those fit, the fronts will sink in a little more than the rears, so I would be prepared with a 5 or 10mm spacer.

just get 16x8 +25 with 225/50/16 all around and call it a day.

Ryan, if I get those in Phoenix I'll have to paint my S13 with bassboat paint and etch a madonna on the rear window.

Damn those are ugly.

Dude, I don't want to be "down" with some guy in an 89 Grand Am with 13x10 Daytons and gold velvet seats.

245's in the rear, 225's in the front?

I've just spent four hours in the garage rehabbing ONE wheel...

These are gonna be a labor of love.

Excuse me while I go let my fingerprints grow back (sanded them off)... :)

Not to be rude, but that is kind of the norm in the country you got those wheels from. DOn't hate on us who like to utilize the size and offset of our rims for the tires that work for the job that the car is used for so commonly in Japan.
