Hey all, first post so I will try to make it short.

I have been wanting a Q for a long time and Love the look the ride and the fact that they are easy to work on and parts are inexpensive, well some.

I found a Q on Copart here is the Link:

http://www.copart.com/c2/homeSearch.htm ... CH_RESULTS

I know it has been in a accident and the whole unibody thing, i pulled a full carfax and it was considered a total loss in 09/09. So what i think is it was just above the insurance threshold to consider it totaled. I would think about 3500-4000 in repair cost when it was only worth just over 8500.

If anyone feels like contributing your knowledge would be greatly appreciated...

Miles

First of all - :welcome: to NICO!

I have a huge hangup about repaired damage on cars, so I would skip it alltogether. That series of Q is relatively bulletproof, except for the coil packs on the engine. Count on spending about $800 to replace those at some point... otherwise maintenence is pretty typical.

Good luck!

I agree especially when there are so many clean examples available today for so little money. Take your time and find your perfect car. Happy car hunting :).
