What would YOU like to see?

We try to keep stickies limited. However, the FAQ has a list of useful threads in it. We can add some of those threads to the list there.

As for a build section, I believe we've talked about it in the past, but it would pull too much traffic from the main forums.

I've got an idea for this to work without killing traffic... ill post it up for the other mods and the admins to see and see what everyone else thinks...

How about a "mod of the month" for SR's.
Have one of the supporting vendors run a special on a particular part, post a DIY on how to do it, allow people to discuss it, new month comes up and a new mod is suggested.

Like, August 2010 is Rocker Arm Stoppers. Have vendor xxxxxx put a NICO special for $xx.xx with free shipping for any given brand. Post the DIY article already posted for most SR mods, we can all talk about if it is a good mod, a bad mod (some dont like RAS's for example), and whatnot. It attracts traffic to the supporting vendors, who in turn can help support the SR community. Get word and DIY out about new products. Gets people excited about whatever, allows those that already turned the wrenches to share their experiences.

Most of all, it brings traffic to the forum. That particular month's Mod-Of-The-Month could be stickied and at the end of the month, unsticky it.

I REALLY like that idea Ducky. I'm not going to lie. I find myself constantly checking Enjuku's Item of the Day section. I can see how that would really generate some traffic. I'll talk with Greg to get an O.K. on it.

hey pyro, think we could get "tapatalk" going here on nico? i dunno if anyone heard of it but i just found it 10 mins ago.i was just on zilvia on my iphone and got a popup saying ziliva was registered to tapatalk
i got the app, and basically it's a forum app for iphones, blackberry's and any other smart phone i would think. it has all the sections and threads loaded as phone format so its easier to find/read/load etc. I was actually hoping for a nico iphone app in the future, safari sucks for forums. its free for the forum, the owner just needs to register.
