Well guys I'm trying to decide on my vehicle situation for next year. I currently own a 91 240sx and some of these new vehicle choices will allow me to keep my 240 and others won't. I'm in college, so I just can't afford two cars with some of these choices. These cars I'm looking at will be drive everyday, all year around. I need something reliable, yet snappy. If you could provide an explanation for your choices, I'd greatly appreciate it.What Car would you choose

um, i didn't see the turbo swap part in the impreza category.... :)

I'd go with the maxima if its a mid 90s with a stick shift. In fact if I decide to sell my 240sx to my youngest brother, i'll be hunting for one of those.

not sure but i saw a swaped 2.5rs at a WRX meet and it was killer, im sure you can get them for cheaper than a SR20DET from japan. Or even if you dont want to do the swap the 2.5RS is a pretty cheap car and its AWD, 4 door and fuel efficent.

I'd keep the money and ride the bus, no good cars there.

maybe for you, but here in the barren SUV-crazed land of america used "sporty" cars are few and far imbetween and usually overpriced. ;)

The A4 or Impreza would be nice. I like both cars.

I dont see any real sports cars on the list so I'll go with the most practical econobox, the Maxima, although I'd rather get a Camry than that.

Nope, no sports cars on this list. This is the list to beat back and forth to work and such. The sports car comes when I finish college and can afford it. :D

I'd love to have a big late eighties 4x4 chevy truck here. 454 crate motor in it and about 8" of lift. I'd paint it green and call it Godzilla:mad:

You damn right. "Oh no is Godzilla!" put up against an r32 in a pulling contest. That would be beautiful.:ylsuper

No actually the most fun vehicle would be a GMC Syclone or a Ford Lightning. Can you imagine the feeling of some Japanese guy in a GTR getting pummeled by a pickup truck? I think he might steer at a pole to make the pain go away.

Definatly something to see. Especially that new Lightning concept. Man that thing is scary. I just want to see a Japanese man in an r32 get into a pulling contest with a very large scary man in a big damn truck. Bumper to bumper.

Large and Scary, that would be Yamaoni. I'm more like the devious little Brain to his hulking but good natured Pinky.

Well there you go. You build the truck and get Yama to wear a lumberjack outfit and drive it. Providing you could build a big chevy in Japan.

Definately, the A4. I took a couple of those home to test drive between my 91 and the new 98. It impressed me a good bit, but not enough to break away fromthe 240's. Lots of creature comforts and all year round drivability is very good with all wheel drive. You should see those things four wheel drift at Road Atlanta. They aactually have a driving school there called the Audi experience. The skid pad is sort of interesting in an AWD car..... Second choice would be the Impreza, they get good power when you pull two of the three cats in them and have a great ride to them. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.....

I would take the A4. I think they look pretty good and they are AWD. I also don't think you could go wrong with the Maxima.

If I did the swapped civic, I'd put the B18c in. I'd maybe add a supercharger if I had enough cash left over.
