lets say that your driver side door got keyed. and bumper has a little dent due to the face that other people can't drive buuuut, you want to get performance parts for your car. what would you spend on your money first? fix the flaws or modify the car?

I personally would fix the flaws first. I don't like it when there are cosmetic flaws on my car, and I constantly wash it to kept it clean.

It's all preference - can you live with the scratches and dent? If you can, go for the parts...

I am with marlin29311 on this one. Some ******* opened their door into me in a parking lot and left a dent, scratch and some purple paint on my car. I took out the paint and scratches and am having the dent taken out next week. I cant stand to see the imperfections, even though most people would never notice it now.

Yeah i would def get it fixed before getting parts, but thats just cause im such a stickler for that kinda stuff. The parts will still be there once you get it fixed and that way you dont have to worry about not having enough money to fix it after you mod it.

Plus it will most likely be cheaper to fix it, depending on how bad the scratch and dent is and what part you were lookin to get.

You should defenetly fix that stuff first. If the scratch is deep and live in an area with alot of moisture, it could rust. Now, how did you get a dent in your front bumper? I always thought if you hit someone from behind, it was your fault, or did someone back into you?

when i first got my car, i used to go to the car wash. and what had happened was when we were in there we had to put our cars in nuetral and just enjoy the ride.. this person got stuck in the front of the line which caused a domino effect. luckily i saw it before i hit the person in front of me and hit my brakes. but the girl behind me didnt see it and hit my rear bumper with her license plate and left a dent right there in the middle of my bumper. haha. after we got out. she sped off and never looked back....thus the story of the dent. haha

was that one of those quickie car washes or like a nice one where you can get out and watch it get sprayed with the soap and wax and stuff?

Cause usually the nicer ones have track faults that will shut it down if two cars get within a certain distance of each other so they dont hit... you may have a beef with the carwash place if thats the case.

All the ones I've gone to do this as well. I always freak out thinking my car is gonna get hit... and then the track just stops.

That is why I have never taken my car to a quicky car wash. I prefer doing it myself and kind of enjoy it as well.
