I'm looking to upgrade to a better turbo setup. As of now I have Blitz dp, straight pipe, nurspec exhaust, nismo clutch+flywheel, blitz bov, hks acuator, walbro fuel pump, and denso 7 iridiums. I was possibly looking at the HT Stage one kit but I'm reading mixed opinions on the Big28. I was also looking at the Enjuku T3/T04e setup. I want a turbo mainly meant for drag but on a budget. Between everything-turbo setup, fmic, radiator, fan, injectors, mafs, afc or jwt ecu, I can only afford about 5-6. The good thing I figure about HT is the addition of injectors, an ecu, and mafs with filter kit. With the HT kit I'd be able to get the tomei 2 way lsd as where if I went with the enjuku I wouldn't be able to afford an lsd. I hear the enjuku kit has more potential but what do you guys think. With my budget, what would you do? Any info would be appreciated, thanx.

If you call Ht or Enjuku and tell them your budget..They will put together one hell of a deal for you. Check out http://www.teamenjuku.com/racecar.html

Actually I've already been emaling both companys. HT really wouldn't give me much of a deal, lol, i think it was like 50 bucks off total and free shipping...not much of a deal after wanting to spend 5k with them if you ask me. Enjuku offered me about 200 off. I'm kinda leanin towards the enjuku kit anywayz because of the much better potential. thanks tho man.

add jgy customs to your email list (http://www.jgycustoms.com) they have experiance and some sexy turbos in their stable. 5-6k seems like a good chunk to get something going

I'd say put pieces together. Jspec.com has the TD06 Turbo which is good upto 500 horse. All you need is a manifold, which can be custom made by SSautochrome i think, and they even have a lifetime warantee against cracks. All you need is a 40mm Tial WG, some earl's stainless braided lines and you have a turbo kit for less than 2 grand. Try that, or you can just spend like 5 grand on the kit from else where which you should be only spending half of that...u know?

Definetly do not go with a kit. You can piece together a custom kit with some VERY large numbers for that dollar amount. Drop me an email [email protected] and i help you out.

For 3500-4000 I could put an SC61 kit together for you that would be capable of making 350-600whp depending on the motor mods. About 400-450whp safely on your stock engine. Here's some pics of the work I do..

Spec V turbo kit piping and manifold

Ported exhaust housing (standard on all kits)

More kit pics (assembled)

I've got pics of an SC61 turbo kit for an S14 I'm building right now. I'll post them up later tonight. Let me know if you are interested, and I'll put together a quote for you. You can reach me at [email protected] ThanksTravis
