Well I'm thinking about a car again next year while i'm on co-op. Which one of the choices that I mentioned would you guys pick?? My parents said it's up to me, but not to get myself into a hole. If you have any other options, post em up and all of these cars will be used (can't afford a brand new $30k car while I'm in school).

Not a big fan of the Evo, WRX, S2k, or MR2. I admire them, but I dont care for them, and I dig the taco.

So.. keep el taco and buy a G35 w/manual or my personal favorite: a Cadillac CTS w/manual.

By "MR2" you mean the second-gens right? At least, I hope you don't mean the newer MRS. Those are ugly and poopie...

I'd keep the taco until you graduate... don't get into that much debt so soon.

Yes, I don't want one of the spyders. If I got an MR2, I'd get the second generation.

keep taco. save up for 350z/g35c. s2k/evo/wrx are ok. the evo has the best performance but everything on it is fragile. the wrx(non-sti right because you did not specify) is one tough beast but not the fastest car. the s2k is a purist car and not the most durable thing on the list either. you are thinking about a durable dependable school car right? i may be biased but a 240 would be good.

I would most likely not get any of the ones that require me getting rid of my truck. My truck will be my daily driver/beater. I'm leaning towards the S2k, because they are an amazing car to drive and very nice looking. I'll just have to wait and see I guess.

I kind of like the whole idea of two cars but thats me. If you want less insurance and matenience, stay with one car. Are you going to drive the S2000 in snow. If you are going to go into debt, get something yo like and will enjoy.

I personally do like the EVO and WRX. I love all wheel drive, and not to mention TURBO!!!

But dont go this route while in school. Do like I am doing, selling the yoto and getting the Geo Metro back on the road. I will be totally out debt in less than six months.

I called about insurance today on the S2000, because if I do anything thats the route I'm leaning towards. They said it would be about $350 more/6 months on my policy and thats with $200 deductibles. They said when I'm not driving the car I can just carry comprehensive which is $85/6 months as long as it's ok with my loan provider. I was amazed at how little that car would make my insurance go up.

The S2000 would NOT be driven during the winter, just during the summer.

RS2.5, use the money you save to put a WRX engine in it, and then you can stomp STI's

I had one accident this summer, but it was a no fault accident. Other than that, not a thing on my record.
