What would you do... if you had a fully stock 300zx?

Im just bored and feel like hearing some personal opinions.

Rules.
First no bashing. Everyone is entitled to have a stupid opinion.

Second. You must include 2 answers. One is a realistic answer based on your own budget and abilities. Second answer is your fantasy z build.

Enjoy

Single Pop, Downpipes, 2.5" exhaust, catback, lightweight flywheel/clutch. 120k kit assuming it had been a while, replace UD pulley with UR if doing that job. Replace EVERY SINGLE rubber hose and pipe under the hood with silicone. Poly steering rack and sway bar bushings. At least all 4 diff bushings and then subframe bushing collars. transmission/diff fluid. EGR, AIV, PRVR, Carbon Cannister delete. Replace power steering high pressure line and J hose. PTU relocation. Some kind of upgrade over stock brake pads. Adjustable tension rods to replace OEMs that will rot. Aftermarket head unit. Replace tweed interior with anything else. Base tune for setup.

Extra credit: Poly bushings for front LCA, full rear poly bushing work, subframe bushings, coilovers, upper control arms if going with bigger wheels, 17" wheels with 245/17 in front and 275/17 in rear. Replace all 4 LCA ball joints and steering rack ball joints. Replace any broken interior pieces.

That would leave you with a solid handling pretty reliable TT. You could keep going with boost controller, injectors and more. Obviously the sky is the limit. But that would be, and is basically the list I'm working through on my 2nd Z32 now.

Option 1: Drive it as it is, I know just how much it costs to build a high power TT, if I was to do it again I wouldve bought a fully built one.

Option 2: High-rev, High-comp, bored and stroked midmounted VH with stretched rear to accomidate a balboni-like setup.

I guess since this is my thread i might as well throw in my 2 cents.

Option 1
Performance:
Single cone Pop charger
Cat back exhaust
Slight ecu upgrade
Lowering springs
Short throw shifter
All the basic engine clean up deletes

Looks:
Black leather interior trim including seats
17" wheels with at least 245 tread
Double din touch screen radio
99 jspec bumper
TwinZ rear diffuser

Round 2.
^^^this plus everything under^^^

An RB26 swap with bigger turbos
4wd (seriously, who wouldn't want it)
Wide body kit
Light weight painted carbon fiber body panels and whatever Else i could get molded
Upgraded brake kit
Fully adjustable suspension

And a small bottle of NOS just so i can get that awesome "too soon" line in every now and then.

Lol. But honestly I'm just happy with the round 1 mods

I like the way you think ThisIsSparTTa, pretty much the path I had planned for my 100% stock TT when I got it.
I'd only add upgrade smics and dual intake so she can breathe to your list, along with the brake booster brace and switched injector mod for all 94 and under Z's... :dblthumb:

Yea, for my build, I do actually already have Godspeed SMIC's and Selin Dual intake as well as Profec B Boost controller, and then had all that tuned by SZ earlier this year: http://i.imgur.com/AROhult.png. If I didn't already have my DP's and Test Pipes, I would also go with 3" piping out of turbos and 3">2.5" test pipes. Even with stock turbos on my setup it can make a big difference letting that hot air quickly expand.

The BMC brace is crucial, and I do already have that. Already went to 740CC Nismo's too, but if you still had good condition early injectors, trying to save them with the switched voltage mode would be a great idea too.
