I have a 1993 fastback automatic.Plans are sr20det swap w/ 5spd.

and a 1990 fastback 5spd that I wrecked. This was my first 240 and it has sentimental value. Plans are s15 front, engine later.

Now I found 1994 , red w/ 157,000 miles on it for $1500. The back window cracked from the cold weather. Interior real clean, body and paint clean.

I dont really see the pt of having 3 cars....

I say buy the red 240. Strip your wrecked car. Make the red 240 your daily while you build your white 240 with SR..

In the end, you will have a functional daily driver with a weekend car with good engine.

BTW, where in LI do you live? I used to live there

stripped the wrecked, buy the new one (daily driver) and put s15 on it, and biuld the white one, the you have badass, but not fast daily driver w/ show potential, and fastass car to do what you wish with.

Swap the 5 spd from the 90 into the 93 now.Proceed with SR swap (assuming KA-T is out of the question for some reason because that's what I would really do) with the money you would spend on the 94 or whatever maintenance and suspension work you need to do.

I'd keep the subframe, rear multilink, and just about everything else off the 90 that wasn't destroyed.... Actually I would keep the whole car for parts and backup stuff. There are so many useful things on it. Like bleeder screws and random connectors and fuses from the engine bay. It will save you many trivial journeys to the local Autozone and hardware store.

I'll have to check out the 94 more before I make my decision. The guy doesn't know if the timing chain was replaced. At 157,000 miles, I'll have to do that real soon. I'm probably lookin at at least $350 for the back window replacement.

I still have some parts that never made it into the 1990, and won't fit the 1993.

If the 1994 is worth it, I think I should pick it up. I could always decide to get rid of the wrecked on later.

I drive a company car, 2002 Dodge Stratus lol, so none of these would be my daily driver.

Thanks for all the imput so far.
