Pull the engine, bore and sleeve it, pauter titanium rods, high lobe cams, high poundage valve springs, oversized valves, stud the head, twin turbo @ 30+ psi, push the rev limit up, build a direct port fuel injection system, build the hell out of the transmission, clutch and flywheel, lighten up the driveline, add a good shot of nitrous, probably need a roll cage to track it, so a good cage...

Kenstyle body kit, Tein coilovers, most every suspension part you can think of, sub frame connectors, stitch weld the unibody, replace all the bushings with urethane... there is a lot I'm forgetting...

Or, skip the turbos, go with high compression pistons, and a much bigger shot of N2O.

With the VQ in : Build a bullet proof motor and transmission, TT, N2O, tein drift suspension, carbon fiber everything, make it as fast and fun as possible, but keeping it street legal for some highway money

I personally would swap a 2jz into it, if i had the money - single giant turbo, build a highway monster, make some money underground style!

But with unlimited money, it would be better to keep and build the VQ. It just would be cheaper to get 900+hp out of the 2jz

Putting a Toyota engine in a Nissan is just wrong... Put this in there, then add twin turbos...

And a Chevy American motor is not nearly as wrong?.... LOL come on coffee nut, the 2jz isn't easy but at least it carries the letter "Z" in the name!

I would do a full build of the vq with a aps extreme twin setup, a dog sequential transmission, personally I would do koni adjustables and some tein springs, oversized sway bars, gt spec body stiffeners, and every body component from mines, also arc diff cooler and mines full titanium exhaust. all the cold piping to be done in that gold heat reflector films, and the hot pipes to be done with the that heat raps. And all the cold piping to be made of titanium and completely welded together to prevent leaks. And finally full carbon rims with 10pot fronts and 6 pot rears. Other wise keep the car on the outside looking as stock as possible.

or and i know this is bad I would swap the v12 toyota motor in and then supercharge it after building the hell out of it.

or maybe do something crazy and some how get a hold of that audi r8 diesel motor and toss that in there.

As for your dream garage skip the slr and go for the amg v12 bi turbo sl63 and with the money you save build the **** out of that because you will have a car that will pritty much destroy all.

If you were looking to keep it small, put an RB20 in there.
