What Would my car spank?

what up boyz i havent really donw much racing had my car for bout 2 monthes now , i have bought a body kit rims with rubber a system and hopefully an SR after winter but i would like to know what my car could spank on the road with my stock SOHC 89 240 sx engine?Amer Keilani

Well most neons are pretty fair game, along with just about any p-body car (shadows, sundances, dusters).

Non z24 cavaliers and sunfires should be pretty easy too. It really boils down to driver ablility, if you're really good at driving your car you'll be able to run with more agressive things.

i didnt come here to get flamed , i am goig to work on my engine after the body shop is done repainting my car and i would like a silvia front end conversion also , btw my car is 5 speed!

I was completely kidding man...no offense meant. Instead of drag racing them, challenge people to auto cross or a road course...thats where the 240 makes up for its horsepower (or lackthereof)

don't take it to hard. we read that you're swapping motors anyway so it would only be safe to assume that you think your current motor is slow...er then others out there. Yeah the motor is going on 14 years old, but apparently nissan n/a motors like to run for near ever.but i think the census around here is that you can probably go head to head with most 4 bangers that are all motor and non-vtec

Well i dont want you to get jealous... But i think my 82 Mercury Zephyr is outta the question for sure tho. 4500 pounds of sheet metal with an old school inline 6. Thats not all, just when you thought it couldnt get any meaner, i have collected 4 different types of hub caps i found on the side of the road add that to pHaT neon lights, fuzzy dice and boat propeller hitch and you have one mean ride.
