ok so i have ka plugs in my car right now, i turned up the boost to 14 psi and i was paired up next to this stock sr on 7 psi and i only beat him by like 3/4's of a car, and we were rolling :[

driving skills had nothing to do with it so dont even start with me on that.

are the ka plugs really that bad? spark gap should be .35 right ?

Plugs are not designed for a specific motor. Check the part numbers. There is no such thing as a "KA plug". If it fits in the motor and it creates a spark then it will run your car. Heat range and material used in the plug are really the only difference.

Don't forget the length of the plug matters too... Cause if the plug is to long, then the piston will slap the plug. And if you do that, you're gonna have a bad time.

Don't do it man, don't do it. If ya do you will open a new warp hole that will lead to great chaos!!

Dont run the KA plugs. Get some NGK bkr5e for stock boost setup. For 14 psi, some run NGK bkr7e. Gap to .28.

even the bkr5s are to hot of a plug.. for stock boost either use bkr6es and if your going to be boosting higher then 12 use bkr7es to be in the safe zone..and don't gap the plug higher then 0.32

you losing against a 7psi sr comes down to power adders
