In all fairness the remarks were rather tame by comparison with many comments already made against Obama.

Interesting that JJ's son condemned his fathers comments on the floor of the senate.

I for one, would be much happier if the press would concentrate on the skill sets of the candidates and ignore racial comments and innuendos. Isn't this the 21st. century after all.

Saw that on the news this morning. IMO, having a pro black rights activist against Obama is a good thing. Because to me it says Obama isn't souly about the pro black movement. He's just a African American running for president.

But it's really not important to me at all as far as Obama himself is concerned. It's one man getting caught running his mouth about another man...which in some circles will be completely blown out of proportion. If we all had microphones on us all the time...well we'd all get caught saying really nasty stuff at some point or another.

I have a dream to...people should just stfu and get on with life.

What a stupid thing to make a news story out of.

This is as bad as The Ramsey' being BACK on the lead of the news yesterday while the Senate passed the new FISA bill.

Dr. King would be intelligent enough to just roll his eyes at lampooning anyone black white purple green or brown for what they say in private to someone else using obviously facetious rhetoric.

My attraction to this story stems from the sheer irony of it. Jackson is notorious for making media spectacles out of people who say things that he doesn't agree with. Yet he, a "Christian" pastor who preaches non-violence and who marched along with MLK, Jr. is using a phrase like "I'm gonna cut his nuts off." Basically showing that 1) he's a hypocrite and 2) that he doesn't really care whether or not something is true -- he's just after metaphorical blood (personal note: even better if it gets him on the front page).

So now you get to see him for what he really is, in his own words and HE gets to be the shamed spectacle in the global media. Now if Al "Won't you take me to.... HymieTOWN" Sharpton would just follow suit we could be rid of both of them for good.

Unfortunately they (JJ and AS) are racial vultures who appear and play the racial card for the publicity it gains them. Case in point, the Duke la crosse rape case. Didn't matter whether their target was innocent or not, they waved their flags in front of the media for their own gain. And do they apologize when they are wrong? Not.

I think we can all agree that Jackson is an ignorant boob who's unworthy of microphone time.

Always has been, always will be.

STFU about race, Jesse. To quote "The Replacements":

"You're not even a 'has-been' - you're a 'never was'!"
