That's an S14, newer shell, sure to have a lot less chances of serious rust. Check under your master cylinder. If it ever leaked in its life, the paint is going away and you will have some.Check the wells on each side of the trunk where the inside of the quarter panel goes down into a dark damp abyss. If you have a sunroof car check the inside of the rocker panel ahead of the back tire where it drains. Often that will clog up and cancer ensues.Inside the fenders from the back corners of the engine bay can rust. Must people don't see it because there are usually fuse boxes and foam plugs in the way.If you pulled your fenders you would likely find rust forming on the kick panels. On most cars the wiper tray dumps water over its edges and down these leading to rust.
Basically, anywhere moisture can collect and sit, dirt and junk can collect to exacerbate, rust will form.
There is always rust somewhere on a car mores that a year or two old. The amount is variable depending on the part of the country, where the car spends its time, parking under a tree is bad, pine tree worse, and how the car is maintained. NEVER trust a seller. Get under the car stick your head in the darkest corners of the thing with a good flashlight. You will find some rust. It's the circle of life simba.
