My current wheels are 18x8 with +40 offset and they sit flush.

I'm currently shopping for wheels and there is a set that are both 18x8 with a +35 offset and a 18x8 +45 offset. Which should I get? I want them to sit flush and not be inside the wheel well nor sticking out of the body. Thanks for any help!

35 will probably be the closest to flush... it will also give you a slightly bigger lip.

If you want, afterwards, you can always get a spacer to push it out farther from the hub.

(i believe this info is true, dont hold me to it!)

How far out would +22 offset be? Would I need to roll my fender and/or stretch tires?

Depends on the rim's width.

I've had XXR 512's 18x8 +15 offset and I didn't need any fender rolling. Don't worry too much about low offsets. Our vehicle is pretty versatile.

7.5 width with 35 offset isn't quite enough to be flush.

I had those exact specs on my Enkeis, that's why I installed 10mm spacers.

ill see how it sits when i install em, but i was really hoping i wouldnt need to get spacers... more money :\

the other option was 45 offset, but i guess that would mean its even worst... as far as i understand the offset thing correctly
