rite now my fuel setup consists of a 255 lph fuel pump, stock injectors, and an 8:1 fmu. I plan to stay within 4-5 lbs of boost. maby sometimes 6 but nothing more than that. will my fuel setup be safe like this?. or should i buy ca injectors, and an safc, and get rid of the fmu? I do not really want to but the injectors and safc if i do not need them what do you guys think? this is for an sohc also

im planning on running those boost levels, and i think im gonna go with an adjustable fpr and the safc for awhile, then eventually get some sr 370's. i want to be able to tune my own car and just running an fmu doesnt really help me out in that respect.an 8:1 seems like that might be a bit much, at 6psi you would almost be adding another 50 psi of fuel to the system. i dont know what the injectors can handle, but i would look into that if i were you. im sure you could get by on the fmu though, seems like it would be rich though.this is all just stuff that i have researched...so im sure im missing something...

That setup is perfectly fine, a little on the rich side for my taste but should do just fine

i was running 9psi with an 8:1 fmu for months jsut fine. your injectors will be ok. i eventually would invest in an safc and bigger injectors tho and have it tunned properly.

btw what turbo are you using? if you have not already bought the 8:1 i would look around for an fmu thats 4:1 to 6:1 for 5lbs,if the turbo is on the smaller size which i assume it is

turbo is good, I have one, and 8:1 was REALLY rich, but definitely safe ;)

And what do you guys do with your egr systems, and all the vacume lines going to it etc? btw thanks guys for all the help:)

just cut the pipe, didnt even unplug it. this was on KAe, but I did no timing adjustment, I think it was really retarded already, but I was getting 20 miles to the gallon, and it was black smoke backfire, no real bogging, loss of some power

when you cut the pipe, going to the exhaust manifold, do you have to plug the end of it up? or leave it open, and if you leave it open, will it cause a vacume leak?
