Hi fellow NICO members!
I will be starting my new KA-T project very soon and need some help from you guys who have done it before (KA-T). I've been here for a quite some time now and have been reading tons of stuff on how to turbo the KA. I have a fairly low mileage and very strong KA motor in excellent shape just installed recently. My power goal is to safely boost the KA to achieve about 250+ hp on stock internals and spending no more then $2000 in doing so. The car will be my daily driver and weekend drift/track meets. I will want most of my power coming towards the mid to high end of the rpm range. So saying that, I ask, what is the best way to go as far as selecting turbos, manifolds, IC's, FMU's, etc.....OR.....
with so many different options and choices out there...
I was wandering if those of you who have done this before and HAVE a reliable KA-T setup to kindly list the parts they used in building it such as which turbo you used, manifold, IC, any FMU, MAF, injectors used, ECU upgrades/tunes, etc. and what you would recommend if you were to do it differently. If you just used stock items then please say so too.
