what wire to tap for aftermarket tach?

searched the archives and someone said "I think its the green wire with a yellow stripe" for an autometer tach, so I tapped into this one for my sunpro tach but its not working. Can anyone give me some help with this one quick?I want to finally mount my ECU and put my kick panel back in and this is the last connection I need to make before I can screw it back in.Thanks,Andrew

i think its a yellow one with red stripe. Get a FSM all the Wiring scheme are there

It is Yellow with a Red stripe.....

yellow with red stripe... ok. cool I'll try that one then. I have an FSM but its on pdf so it sucks to find stuff.
